At Origin Physiotherapy, we are passionate about helping people move better, recover confidently, and get back to doing the things they love. This ranges from competing in sport, training in the gym, running pain-free, or simply feeling more comfortable in everyday life.

That’s why we are excited to welcome William Eadon to the team.

Will joins Origin Physio as a fully qualified Physiotherapist with a diverse clinical background spanning NHS services, orthopaedic oncology, and professional sport. Alongside this, he brings extensive personal experience in Strength Training, Rugby, Ironman Triathlon, Endurance Sport, and Hybrid Fitness events, giving him a unique understanding of both performance and rehabilitation from the perspective of clinician and competitor alike.

A Modern Approach to Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is about far more than simply treating pain.

For many people, pain or injury becomes frustrating because it interrupts the activities that matter most to them, such as work, fitness, sport, or even their confidence in day-to-day movement. At Origin Physiotherapy, our goal is not just to reduce symptoms, but to understand why the issue developed, what is keeping it going, and how we can help people return stronger and more confident long-term.

Will’s approach reflects Origin’s philosophy.

His experience across both healthcare and performance environments means he understands the importance of combining detailed clinical assessment with practical, realistic rehabilitation. Whether you’re preparing for an endurance event, returning from surgery, struggling with a persistent injury, or simply trying to stay active around work and family life, physiotherapy treatment should always be tailored to you.

Experience Across NHS, Sport, and Performance Settings

Throughout his training and early career, Will has gained experience across a wide variety of clinical settings.

His NHS background has exposed him to complex patient care, rehabilitation planning, and evidence-based practice, while his work within orthopaedic oncology has developed his understanding of recovery following major surgery, long-term rehabilitation, and the importance of patient-centred care. Alongside this, his exposure to professional sport has strengthened his understanding of injury management within high-performance environments, where returning athletes safely, efficiently, and confidently is essential.

This broad clinical experience allows Will to work with a wide range of individuals, including:

  • Gym-goers and strength athletes
  • Runners, triathletes, and endurance athletes
  • Rugby and team sport athletes
  • People returning from injury or surgery
  • Individuals managing persistent pain
  • Office workers dealing with posture or movement-related issues
  • General population clients looking to move and feel better

Understanding Training and Injury First-Hand

One of the biggest frustrations people often experience in rehabilitation is feeling misunderstood. It can be difficult to trust advice from someone who does not fully appreciate what training, sport, or physical activity means to you personally.

As someone heavily involved in Strength Training, Rugby, Ironman Triathlon, and Hybrid fitness events, Will understands the realities of balancing performance, recovery, fatigue, work, and injury management. He understands the mindset of people who genuinely enjoy training and want to continue progressing, not simply “rest until the pain goes away”.

This perspective is incredibly valuable when building rehabilitation plans that are realistic, progressive, and tailored to an individual’s goals. Rather than simply telling people to stop activity altogether, physiotherapy should help individuals understand how to continue moving appropriately, build resilience, and return stronger over time.
